The Ramada Princess Hotel is the home of Miss World Guyana 2022 here it will host a series of premium events. The hotel is less than a kilometer away, witness cricket matches at Guyana National Stadium and are close to the botanical gardens, Promenade Gardens, Guyana Zoo, National Museum of Guyana, and Castellani House/National Art Gallery.
ABOUT THE COMPETITION
Miss World Guyana Organization prides itself on ‘Beauty With A Purpose’ which essentially operates on a global scale raising millions every year towards good causes and works in tandem with tens of thousands of unique humanitarian projects across the globe. In Guyana, past candidates have raised over $53 million dollars in funds from the period 2013 – 2020 from their various community projects under Beauty With a Purpose. This year, the Miss World Guyana nationwide campaign specifically aims to promote all aspects of Guyanese society and will kick off at the semifinalist stage of the Miss World Guyana national competition where each candidate will create her own literacy campaign under any of the 20 literacy types (example – cultural literary, basic literacy, media literacy, business/financial literacy, etc) that is more aligned to her personal interests and drive.

Promoting Guyana’s Tourism & Hospitality Industry
The Ministry of Trade & Tourism is led by Minister Oniedge Waldron and is responsible for the growth and development of the tourism sector in Guyana as an export industry that has tremendous potential for Guyana. GABRIELLA CHAPMAN
Gabriella Chapman is a twenty-six-year-old freelance writer and press relations coordinator who was well known for her stint in pageantry in Guyana from 2015-2020. She is the founder of Girl Build Girl Foundation, a girl empowerment group she formed in 2017 while she was Miss Bartica Regatta’s queen. To date, she still enjoys fulfilling her purpose of being a positive influence and sister support to young women.

Veronica Ramsaroop
Veronica Ramsaroop is the lead broadcaster and station manager at Maad 97.5, a popular broadcasting radio station in Guyana. She is no stranger to the stage and loves art, reading, singing, acting and listening to music. Her curiosity of the human psyche led her to pursue a diploma in Psychology at the University of Guyana where she graduated among the first batch of students and passed with distinction.

Tennecia De Freitas is a Guyanese singer with power-packed vocals and a captivating personality who goes by the stage name “Nekeita” . Her love and passion for music began from a very young age and have never ceased to date. She has performed and placed in numerous competitions locally and quickly became a favorite of many. Her song titled “Right Hay” quickly became quite a popular track as it is dedicated to promoting tourism in Guyana and this year’s theme song for the Miss World Guyana competiiton.

Nigel Niles serves as Legal Affairs Director. He is an Attorney-at-Law by profession and was admitted to practice in Guyana in 2001. He is also the Chairman of Volunteer Youth Corp and First Vice President of the Guyana Tennis Association and a Board Member of the Guyana Water Authority
Natasha
Natasha Martindale is the national director and CEO of Majesty International, the current franchise holder for Miss World Guyana after being appointed by the Miss World Organization in late June 2013. She is a Chartered Accountant, businesswoman and also a lover of the arts. She shares this message: “While I think Guyana is as capable and as worthy of attaining the Miss World crown, I truly believe improving the well-being and refining values, qualities and attributes of every Guyanese youth is an achievement that is worth its weight in gold. “
Anju
Anju Vivekanandaraj MSN, Msc. Clinical Psy, is a registered clinical psychologist and founder of Inner Peace Psychotherapy and Counseling Services, Guyana. Her clinical interests include working with children, teens, adults, diagnostic assessments and trauma. She is also an educator, mental health trainer, certified EQ and NLP practitioner and currently serves as a psychologist.
Marisa
Marisa Morgan-Bonnie is an award-winning actress, radio and television personality, scriptwriter, and director that describes herself as fun, friendly, kind and compassionate. She is also a stay-at-home mother of three wonderful children and enjoys singing, cooking, nature, and going on adventures. She is a former teacher and currently serves as the candidate liaison at Miss World Guyana.
Dave
Dave Lalltoo has been a stalwart in the pageant industry in Guyana since 2016 and was recently appointed chairman of Miss World Guyana. He is currently the holder of two master’s Degrees from the University of Hertfordshire, one in Business Management and the other in International Relations. He is also the founder and current serving president of Recover Guyana, an environmental NGO, and a senior member of the Giving Hope Foundation.
Dr. Omesh
Dr. Omesh Balmacoon is an empowerment leader, trainer and holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in medicine, a Masters’s Degree in Business Administration and a Business Administration PhD candidate. He is the former managing director of an international pageant brand and currently serves as the Beauty With A Purpose Coordinator for Guyana.

Yvette Philbert is an award-winning diplomat, renowned business consultant, and expatriate in renewable energy, oil & gas industry, fundraising events, information technology, and philanthropy. She currently serves as the Director of Protocol and Regulations as well as virtual training using Google’s classroom module.
