Project Statement:
- Braveheart is a campaign focused on setting strategies for the fight against bullying. Bullying is a global issue but is quite a major problem in Guyana. Every day our people are fighting each other and even taking to social media to tear down their fellow Guyanese. I would like to advocate on this platform to show my people that the country cannot go forward if we insist on not supporting each other and constantly highlighting each other’s flaws.
Personal Motivation:
- This campaign is dear to me because I have had my fair share of being bullied and recently witnessed the pain of cyberbullying done to my younger sister when she was going through a dark time last year while I was away studying. My sister’s mental state throughout this ordeal was a major concern, and it impacted my family deeply. Braveheart is a campaign I want to do in my sister’s honor to let her and those affected by bullying know they have supporters all around them, even in their darkest hour. This campaign will prove that despite all the hurt someone is going through, they don’t need additional hurt. They deserve love, understanding, and most importantly, they do not deserve to be criticized and bullied about their situation, experience, or any ‘flaw’ they have.

Legacy
My legacy will be one of advocacy and inclusivity, ensuring that every individual feels valued and understood. By raising awareness against bullying and pushing for policies that protect the vulnerable, I will help create a more supportive and inclusive society in Guyana.
Why I Should Be the Next Miss World Guyana
- I constantly seek ways or platforms to represent my country. It is crucial to advocate and see policies for anti-bullying placed in schools, society, and workplaces. As a voice of reason and inspiration for those feeling hopeless in Guyana, I understand many face bullying which holds them back from being their best selves. Being Miss World Guyana would allow me to advocate for change and inspire others to rise above their challenges.
