The Guyana’s 25 Influential Women Award recognizes women from all sectors of society who have positively impacted their communities through exceptional leadership, ethical practices, and a history of inspiring change. This prestigious award highlights their leadership, innovation, and dedication to making a positive impact. Founded by visionary leaders Lyndell Danzie-Black, Managing Director, and Michelle Nicholas, Founder/CEO of The Nico Consulting, Inc., this award has become a symbol of influence and inspiration. Their dedication to developing and empowering Guyanese women symbolizes the natural elegance and inner strength they possess. They remind us all of the innate royalty within every Guyanese woman. and that their triumphs are a testament to the power of perseverance and recognition. The award was launched in 2019, and the fifth annual ceremony took place on May 18, 2024.

2024 Honorees:
- Andrea King, Miss World Guyana 2022: Recognized for her significant impact with Project Flo and her ongoing community work and leadership in her field
- Nuriyyih Gerrard, Miss World Guyana 2016: Honored for her exemplary leadership and continuous contributions to the Guyanese community.
2022 Honoree:
- Joylyn Conway, Miss World Guyana 2019: Celebrated for her dedication to social causes for young girls in STEM during her impactful reign as Miss World Guyana and her exemplary leadership
2021 Honorees:
- Marva Langevine: Celebrated for her outstanding contributions to social causes relating to raising awareness on the impact of grief and loss in childhood and providing support for bereaved families
- Jamaica McCalman: Honored for her entrepreneurship impactful community work through Orange The Runway and continued dedication to community service.
- Abena Gomes: Recognized for her social impact approaches with her aims to change the world through her “Shine Your Light Initiative” which aims to give youths the tools they need to ignite their inner light by focusing on the pillars of personal development; Mind, Body and Spirit.
Since its inception in 2019, the Guyana’s 25 Influential Women Award has honored women from diverse fields, including business, education, health, and social services. The recipients are trailblazers who have broken barriers and set new standards of excellence. Their stories inspire future generations to pursue their dreams with determination and resilience.
