Ariana Blaize Crowned Miss Universe Guyana 2024
Ariana Blaize crowned Miss Universe Guyana 2024 at the Guyana Marriott Hotel which was set ablaze when Ariana Blaize who was sashed, Miss Georgetown, claimed the title of Miss Universe Guyana 2024 on Friday, July 26. The 26-year-old Guyanese-American dazzled the judges and outshone 10 other majesties to win the coveted crown. Blaize will now take the baton from Miss Universe Guyana 2023, Lisa Narine, to confidently strut the universal path every other Miss Universe Guyana travelled. Creating once-in-a-lifetime memories and a lasting legacy befitting true royalty. She will proudly represent Guyana at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November.
The competition was no ordinary fête, with former Miss Earth Guyana Faydeha King, representing Berbice, being a crowd favorite and beloved as the very own local country girl. Miss Uitvlugt, the stunning Guyanese-Filipino Farah Sattaur, not only came with prepackaged goddess looks but also packed with a potentially strong Filipino fan base that has undeniable value. The royal battle ended with King as the first runner-up and Sattaur as the second runner-up. Rounding out the Top 6 were Misha Caleb of Nabaclis, Shyla Murray of Bartica, and Katifa Lester of Demerara Mahaica. Congratulations to all contestants and to our very own Imarah Radix, Miss World Guyana 2009! We will forever remain proud of you and your accomplishments.
So what’s the scoop? The scoop is BLAZE with an “I” that is hot enough to scorch power from the mighty itself.
Another double scoop of relentlessness confirms that Ariana Blaize is no stranger to the world of pageantry. She previously competed in Miss Georgia USA, where she placed third runner-up in 2023 and made it to the Top 16 in 2024. Her consistency and poise clearly set her apart in this national competition.
Ariana’s previous battle royales and this new victory are a testament to her relentlessness, hard work, dedication, grace, and passion for representing Guyana on the Miss Universe stage. As she prepares with her Avengers team for Miss Universe, we can’t wait to see her blaze her way through like a forest fire. Hot enough to make Guyana proud.
