As the visionary founder of the Guyana Golden Lives Organization, Marva has transformed the lives of bereaved, sick, and underprivileged children and families in Guyana. Her organization provides essential support services, initiates critical dialogues on childhood bereavement, and fosters resilience through programs like Camp Golden.
“I’m passionate about going into communities and holding workshops and talks so when I leave there are people within those groups and communities who can be advocates for support and who feel equipped and empowered to tell other people about what’s available and why support helps,” Marva passionately expresses.
